On September 27th, 2008 at a little sustainable farm in northern Indiana, diners will be able to experience “local” food on a new level. Locavore chefs Jennifer Disler and Todd Downs will turn the seasonal harvest at Hawkins Family Farm into a meal to remember. Mad Anthony Brewery will provide expertly matched brews to compliment each course. The evening will be begin with a “gardeners treat”, freshly dug French Breakfast radishes served ice cold with organic butter and coarse sea salt on home made black bread. This treat will be served out in the garden, before the guests take a brief farm tour, as they make their way to the tables. There the family style service will begin with a multicourse sampling of everything a small sustainable Indiana farm has to offer:
